PHOTO PHNOM PENH, ÉDITION ANNIVERSAIRE 5 ANS – DU 8 au 13 DÉCEMBRE 2012.

Pour la cinquième année consécutive, PPP s’expose dans la capitale du Royaume pour une édition riche en couleurs! Le plus grand rendez-vous annuel de la photographie en Asie du Sud-est vous invite à découvrir et savourer les travaux d’artistes asiatiques et européens. Parmi eux figurent de grands noms de la discipline : Georges Rousse, Isabel Muñoz, Michael Ackerman… Pour certains, PPP 2012 constituera leur première exposition en Asie. Il faudra également compter avec les jeunes espoirs de la photo cambodgienne, formés au Studio Images initié par l’Institut français lors de la première édition de PPP, en 2008. Au programme de ce nouveau rendez-vous des couleurs et des formes, de l’espace et du temps : expositions intérieures et extérieures à travers toute la ville, projections monumentales, rencontres, échanges, musique. Afin de célébrer les 5 ans de PPP, une importante exposition collective, accompagnée d’un catalogue spécifique, présentera une Å“uvre nouvelle de chacun des photographes ayant participé au festival depuis sa création.

For the fifth year in a row, PPP is putting on an exhibition in the Kingdom’s capital. This edition promises to be a really colorful one! The biggest annual photography meet in Southeast Asia invites you to come and enjoy the work of artists from Asia and Europe. Some of them are way up at the top in this field: Georges Rousse, Isabel Muñoz, Michael Ackerman… For others, PPP 2012 will be the first time they’ve shown their work in Asia. And we don’t want to forget the young hopefuls of Cambodian photography, groomed at Studio Images, an initiative of the Institut français back at PPP’s first edition in 2008. On the program of this new get-together of color and forms, of space and time: inside and outdoor exhibitions city wide, monument showings, encounters, exchanges, music. In order to celebrate PPP’s five years, a large group exhibition, along with a specially designed catalogue, will introduce a new work by each of the photographers who have been with the festival since its creation.
